How do I create a wallet?

To use Rewardable, you need a crypto wallet that supports LayerZero’s omnichain technology, such as MetaMaskor Trust Wallet. Follow these steps to create and secure your wallet.

1. Download & Set Up Your Wallet

Choose one of the following wallets and download the app or browser extension:

Once installed, follow the on-screen instructions to create a new wallet. You’ll be asked to set a strong password—make sure it’s unique and stored securely.

2. Back Up & Secure Your Recovery Phrase

During setup, you’ll receive a 12- or 24-word recovery phrase (seed phrase). This phrase is the only way to recover your wallet if you lose access.

Security Tips for Your Recovery Phrase:

  • Write it down on paper and store it somewhere safe (preferably offline).
  • Never share it with anyone—not even Rewardable staff or wallet providers.
  • Avoid digital storage (screenshots, cloud storage, or notes apps) to prevent hacking risks.
  • If someone asks for your recovery phrase, they are trying to scam you and steal your funds.

3. Selecting the Right Network

Before connecting to Rewardable, ensure your wallet is on the Base Network.

In MetaMask:

  • Open MetaMask, click on the network dropdown (top left corner), and select Base.
  • If Base isn’t listed, click "Add Network" and enter the correct RPC details from the official Base Documentation.
  • If setting up the RPC on your own is too difficult, connecting to our dApp should automatically prompt you to connect to the Base Network and can add it for you.

In Trust Wallet:

  • Tap on the network icon, then select Base from the list.
  • If not available, manually add Base using the network’s official settings.

4. Connecting Your Wallet to Rewardable

Once your wallet is set up and on the Base Network, you’ll be ready to connect it to Rewardable when the platform launches. Visit rewardable.app and follow the instructions to link your wallet.

By following these steps, you'll ensure a secure and smooth onboarding experience on Rewardable.
